Dashcams – Norwich

A dashcam is a small camera which records the view through your windscreen and can sometimes also record through the other windows.

What’s the point of having a dashcam fitted?

There are several benefits of having a dashcam:

• You can stop someone from making a fraudulent insurance claim since you will have clear evidence of the incident if you have a dashcam.
• They can help deter potential car thieves, especially since some dashcams have a surveillance mode which is active even when the car is not turned on.
• On a more positive note, your dashcam can record memorable and enjoyable road trips that you’ve been on.
• Overall, a dashcam provides peace of mind that you have supporting evidence if you’ve been involved in a traffic incident and you know that you’re not at fault

Is it easy to fit a dashcam?

There are dashcams on the market which can be fixed to the windscreen using a suction cup and can be plugged into the cigarette lighter, and while these are easy to fit, they’re not a very sleek option. GC Motor Group can hardwire your dashcam into your car so that it looks great and frees up your cigarette lighter.

GC Motor Group provides a professional dashcam fitting service at our workshop in Norwich.
